I took on a couple elopements this fall and it has been one of the highlights of my entire year. This elopement took place on a weekday, which is the only reason it was possible during my crazy fall season but I’m SO thankful it worked out. I had never met Cammy until this day but as I drove up, I saw her sitting on the stoop of the barn writing her vows and I just felt so much peace. There was something special about this day. I can’t quite explain it but I left feeling full of joy and excited for these photos in a different way. I was so inspired by Cammy and Blake — the way they interacted in front of my camera is something I don’t experience often.

Maybe it was because there were no worries for them that day. Their ceremony was only about twenty people and the only thing on the timeline besides that was portraits. I started the morning with a couple detail shots and then we went right into the first look, had at least thirty minutes of portraits and after the ceremony, I had a few more minutes to capture them together as newlyweds. It was any photographer’s dream and I’m so glad I got to be the one to share in this day with them! They were a delight to photograph and I have been counting down the hours until I had this post ready.

Cammy and Blake, I hope married life has been an absolute blast so far, even during moments like when Blake dropped his ring down the drain. Haha!! I love that you laughed about that! So with that being said, enjoy a few of your photos!!
