Amy is half of the dynamic duo that is First Look Artistry and I’ve known her and her best friend Laura who run the business for a few years now, ever since I started offering hair and makeup to my seniors. I’ll never forget the first time I met them — they’re both so bubbly and sweet! They made my seniors feel so comfortable and obviously worked their magic to enhance their natural beauty! I’ve loved getting to work with them over the years and I was so excited to hear when Amy recently got engaged! Amy is such a kind, sweet soul and she’s absolutely stunning so when she asked if I’d do her and Jeff’s engagement photos, I was thrilled!! I know it’s an exciting season for Amy finally getting to be the one engaged after so many years doing hair for other brides.

I knew I’d have a fun time with these two but this shoot was honestly so refreshing and inspiring to me creatively! Amy and Jeff’s energy and joy together was so special to photograph and I could have kept shooting them for hours if the sun hadn’t gone down! Haha! They made this shoot so fun for me by being so energetic but also relaxed at the same time. They made all of my poses their own and really allowed me to capture their true selves.
