Madeleine’s morning started off a little crazy when her hair and makeup trial got cancelled just hours before our engagement shoot. Madeleine and Connor were driving from Baltimore so it wasn’t like we could just reschedule. She didn’t bring any of her hair and makeup so she went to the mall and said she curled her hair at a public outlet while Connor went to find a new sweater at J.Crew since he discovered there was a hole in it that morning. Haha!! Apparently it’s just customary for everything to go wrong when it comes to wedding-related events. Just kidding, just kidding. But when Madeleine and Connor pulled into Panorama Farm, we immediately started laughing at all that had gone wrong. I ensured them we’d have a good time and we definitely did. In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever laughed more at an engagement session than I did at this one.
Madeleine and Connor had a previous wedding photographer booked who had to back out because she got pregnant and their wedding was too close to her due date so I am thrilled that I got to take her place because they’re a dream couple and have been so easy to work with. They really are two of the most genuine people I’ve ever met. While I was photographing them, Connor just kept asking me questions about my job and my life. Connor, that’s my job to ask YOU questions. Haha!! I absolutely love when the grooms are involved and are willing to be silly and have fun at an engagement session. I said to Connor and Madeleine during their shoot that they are seriously the PERFECT match as a couple. The way they interact and banter back and forth was the cutest thing and it made shooting them so easy! I cannot WAIT for their wedding next month at King Family! It’s going to be such a perfect winter wedding!! Here are a few sneak peeks at their misty, fall shoot at Panorama Farm!
