It has been entirely too long since I’ve shared on this little blog of mine. This fall was without a doubt the most insanely busy season I’ve ever had as a business owner. I was either out shooting or inside editing and that alone kept my days full so blogging got put on the back burner. But I’ve been excited for winter because I knew as soon as I got caught up on editing, I’d get to share some of my favorite shoots and weddings from the fall and there are plenty!! I think I have about 10-15 shoots I need to blog so we’ll start with Paula and Hamza.

I’ve talked about Paula and Hamza before when I shared their engagement pictures and posted some of their previews on Instagram but the words that always come to mind for them are infectious and effervescent. The second you meet them, you feel their warmth and friendship.

I was so looking forward to their wedding day, not only because I would get to spend more time with their sweet souls and celebrate the greatest day of their lives, but because I knew their wedding would be lively and full of unique elements due to both of their fun cultures!

One of my favorite moments from their day include their unforgettable first look. You’ll see the images below but Hamza and Paula’s love for one another is so evident and just overflows in how they interact so it was no surprise that Hamza’s face was one of pure elation when he turned around to see his bride-to-be. Their excitement on this day was such a beautiful reminder of what it should look like and feel like to be in love and I felt honored that I got to witness it!

One of my other favorite moments was during the reception when they had a belly dancer! I have never experienced such energy at a wedding before. At the end of her routine, everyone got up and started dancing around her and it was SO much fun to capture!! I loved getting to experience something different than what I normally shoot — it made the time fly by.

But with all of this being said, my pictures will be the best representation of everything and I’m so thrilled to FINALLY have them on the blog! Enjoy scrolling their gorgeous Veritas Winery wedding below!
