Who’s heard of Etsy?? All of you — okay good. Etsy became the means to which I found every single Christmas present I bought in 2015. Everything on the site is created by people with small businesses and I love to support small businesses. I bought my friend London print, my brother a leather overnight bag (which I kind of wanted for myself), my sister-in-law a piece of pottery, and myself a custom stamp.
As a young girl, my mom instilled in me the importance of writing thank-you notes for anything and everything. In fact, it got the point where someone would write me a thank-you note and I thought I needed to write them one back saying thank-you for their thank-you note. I probably did that a couple times… Haha! I wrote thank-you notes all the time and although I dreaded it then, it became a habit that I’m thankful for now.
As my business has grown, I have implemented writing notes to my couples. I feel like it’s a much more personal way to say thanks than an email and I can vouch for the fact that I’d much rather get a hand written letter than an inbox message. I don’t have the best handwriting so I found this lovely stamp on Etsy and had it custom made for me. A couple people have asked about it so I figured I’d share a post! And since I know I’ll get questions about the ink, I got it on Amazon!
