I got to go to Southern California for the first time in 2014 with my sweet friend Hannah and it was one of my favorite trips to date. It ranks up there with Hawaii. There’s something about the beach towns that have my heart. We did A LOT on that trip but because it was my first time in CA, I didn’t know much about the area and we spent a lot of time driving and figuring out what to do. I’m not the best planner when it comes to traveling so ever since the end of that trip, I’ve been excited to come back out now that I know more about the area.
One of my sweet brides for 2016 is currently living in SoCal and asked me to come out for her engagement session and obviously I was so thrilled. I decided to make a trip out of it and spend some time with my friends here since they were kind enough to house me. I’ve been a bit of a nomad this week but it’s been such a blast because I’ve had no plans and have been able to drive absolutely anywhere I want. I have driven the coast every day so far and I just stop at any spot that looks intriguing. This state offers SO much and I am seriously in awe at the beauty of the scenery.
I am currently gearing up for a couple shoots this weekend so my time has been a bit hectic but I wanted to pop in and update you on my trip so far!! Here are a few of my favorite photos. They were all taken up and down the coast, anywhere from Oceanside to Coronado! 🙂 I’m headed to Ventura and LA this weekend so if anyone has any suggestions of what I should do, hit me up!! 🙂 Check out my Instagram to stay up to date!
