It seems like just yesterday that my best friends and I were walking across the high school stage with our diplomas in hand. Now, another four years have passed and my friends are about to walk across a much more prestigious stage with a different degree. It won’t be long before some are headed to grad school, some have full-time jobs, and some are married!

I’ve known Kari since fifth grade and we’ve been close friends ever since! I’ll never forget when this adorable blonde-haired girl got placed in my class in the middle of the year. I knew I wanted to be her friend and the first thing I did during recess was climb the jungle gym where she was hanging out at the top so I could say hi. Since then, we’ve walked through so much life together and I am thankful for her spunky personality and beautiful heart that got me through the hard times.

Kari has spent the last four years at UNC Chapel Hill working on her degree in athletic training. She got to work with a bunch of the sports teams at the university, including the football team, which as most of you know is a pretty big deal. 😉 This graduation photoshoot came full circle at the end of the evening when we finished on the field, where Kari’s love for UNC began.

I am so excited to share these photos of Kari and her best friend Claire, who she has lived with every year in college! I absolutely loved wandering all over UNC with them and giggling at every corner when people yelled out their car windows. Kari and Claire, you two are the sweetest and I loved my time with you!! Your friendship is amazing and I can’t wait to see all the things you do after graduation!! CONGRATS! You’re almost there!
