The winter is a unique time for photographers. It’s a time for little projects that don’t get done during busy season and it’s a time to analyze your year, connect with vendors, update pricing, design albums, rebrand, etc. but what doesn’t happen often is winter shoots. I personally hate being out in the cold so I rarely pick up my camera during those cold months unless I’m traveling somewhere warm. But April is here — finally — which means shoots and weddings galore. To start off my season, I got to hang out with my sweet friend Carrie and photograph her behind the scenes during a small portrait shoot. Carrie was experimenting with some film so while she swapped out rolls, I got to take a few shots of Braelyn!! It felt good to get back in the game! I’m SO excited for all the portrait shoots for 2016!
If you’re a 2017 senior, I’m still looking for a few more senior reps! If you’re interested, email me at meredithsledge8@gmail.com and I can send over the application! You just have to be located in Virginia, willing to promote your senior photos to friends, and have fun with me! 🙂
