Hi friends!! As you’re reading this, I am on my way to the Pursuit conference in Rome, Georgia!! I am currently pre-blogging in a coffeeshop in Asheville, North Carolina because I probably won’t be on the internet much at all next week! I’m SO excited because this is my first photography conference ever. I have no idea what to expect but I’m pumped to be with such an amazing community of other women photographers! I’m sure I’ll share a little about it once I’m back!

In other news, Megan and I stopped by Asheville on the way to Rome and it’s only our first full day here as I write this but so far we’ve had coffee in a double decker bus from London, we ate lunch at the most INCREDIBLE tapas place called Cúrate, took a few pictures by some beautiful tulips, ate Vortex donuts, and now we’re getting some work done! We wanted to go to the Biltmore but the timing didn’t end up working out so I’m still dreaming of doing that the next time I come! Who has been?! I’d love to hear if it was worth the $60.

Also, I’ve been shooting film this whole trip so I honestly won’t even know if any of the photos turned out until I get them developed in the next few weeks and it’s both exciting and super nerve-racking!!! Fingers crossed that the light meter I got has been working. Haha. I can’t wait to send them off the test out the quality of my Pentax and its ability to handle light. I’m sure there will be a blog post full of film coming soon but until then, I’m sharing a few iPhone shots from March, mostly from California. Happy Monday!
