I was looking back through my journals the other day and stumbled upon the many pages I had written about my townhouse being foreclosed and having to move out. It was a crazy, stressful time looking for roommates and a place to live. No rental properties were sticking out to me but I did end up meeting so many incredible people in the process of looking for roommates. I Skyped about three different people (one of which ended up moving in with me!!) who were out of state at the time but I also met up with a few people in person! Jessie was one of those people. She had a duplex and was looking for two new roommates. We had a lot of mutual friends so I had heard a lot about her (and her British accent) but it wasn’t until I met her that I understood why everyone had such sweet things to say! She’s such a kind soul and although living together didn’t work out due to us being able to stay in our place, I’ve gotten to know her in the past few months and I’m happy to call her my friend! I can’t wait to travel Europe with her in November! WOOO. Spontaneous adventures are the best!

But anyway, earlier this week she texted me asking for a favor. She needed some portfolio shots and I obviously agreed. We went over to UVA and had a little mini-session in her gorgeous Anthropologie dresses! 😀 Jessie, you’re gorgeous and I am so excited to be sharing a few of these photos!
