I’ve dreamed of Anthropologie clothes since I first discovered the store many years ago. The style, color, and brand are everything I love. Although I’m not a fashion photographer, clothing and style play a huge role in my images and I find that I’m so inspired when someone shows up to a shoot in a beautiful gown or fun outfit. It brings the shoot up a level and puts me in my creative element. I know about seven people who work at the Charlottesville and Richmond Anthro stores and I’ve been dreaming up a styled shoot ever since they offered to let me shoot for them.
I called recently and asked if they would be interested in working with me by letting me borrow some clothes in exchange for the images. They agreed and the planning began! I asked one of my favorite people, Hannah, to model for me and we set off a few days before the shoot to pick some fall outfits! It took us hours to narrow down out selection but getting to go in knowing I could pick anything I wanted was one of the coolest opportunities! I loved every minute!
We had the amazing Emily Artistry do Hannah’s hair and makeup and we shot all over Richmond, finding locations that would fit each outfit. I feel like everything came together perfectly and I’ve been seriously DYING to share these! The day has come!!
