Emily was one of the bridesmaids in Lauren’s wedding that I shot last year and since she’s best friends with Lauren, I see photos of the two of them on Facebook all the time! I remember seeing a photo of Emily pop up on my feed when she got engaged not too long ago and I wondered who her photographer would be! I knew I wanted it to be me but I wasn’t sure who she’d choose! Well, I got her email not long after her engagement and was SO excited when she booked! Photographing people I’ve met in other weddings is so cool because I already feel like I know them! It never gets old and I will forever feel grateful when it happens. Lauren, thanks for having an awesome best friend! Haha!
Emily and Mark wanted to come to Charlottesville for their engagement session and after lots of location scouting, we decided on the perfect place!! I found out about this beautiful property a few minutes outside of Charlottesville last fall when I helped a photographer on a styled shoot and I have wanted to go back ever since. It ended up being exactly what I had pictured (pun intended) and I’m so thankful to the owner for letting us come out!!
Emily and Mark, these photos make me smile every time I look at them. I am so thankful for couples like you who are willing to laugh, dance, and have fun with me during a shoot! The time flew by photographing you and I hope you love these! I can’t wait to be back at Berry Hill to shoot your wedding next year!!
