It’s time for another proposal!! Don’t you love these days?! It was so exciting to receive this inquiry a couple months back, especially when I saw it was going to be at Pippin Hill Farm, which never disappoints. I shot a proposal there back in the summer and it was so lovely!! I couldn’t wait for this day to finally arrive. Andrew and I schemed for so long about this and how to make it absolutely perfect! You really would be surprised by how much goes into planning these things.
Thankfully, Andrew really had most of it nailed down. He already knew he was going to have his and Allison’s parents there to set everything up, he knew he was going to have Allison’s dog Toshi wear the ring box around his neck and run out when he proposed, and he had the decor prepared, so I didn’t have to do much but strategize where to shoot from to get Allison’s reaction and not be noticed, which was great!
Andrew ended up proposing in perfect time, right before a quick storm hit and it was seriously the cutest!! I was tearing up behind the lens but had to quickly snap out of it so I could see through the viewfinder. Watching Allison’s face as she saw her dog run out to her was priceless and the surprise of both their parents being there was so special to witness.
I loved getting to hang out with them a little bit as we waited for the rain to stop and when it did finally stop, we had the perfect amount of cloud coverage to shoot anywhere! Photographing these two was so much fun! Their joy is obviously undeniable and I can’t wait until they start wedding planning! Andrew and Allison, thanks for inviting me into this unforgettable day! I hope you look at these photos for the rest of your life and are reminded of why you love each other! Here’s a small sneak peek at what’s to come.
