I met Katherine and Isaiah over two years ago when they booked me for their fall wedding. Their engagement shoot ended up getting rained out and due to busy schedules, we never got to do their engagement photos before their wedding. I got to photograph them as a married couple for a little bit on their gorgeous wedding day but I never got that time to hang out with them and leisurely photograph them together without any time constraint. Life just got in the way and we never were able to schedule their shoot after the wedding but here we are, a year and a half later, shooting their almost two-year anniversary portraits/engagement session! Haha!!

I showed up to the location and my jaw dropped. I’m not going to lie — it was so beautiful I almost cried! Haha. It looked like a scene from the Sound of Music! When I saw the field of yellow flowers with the mountain view in every direction, all my dreams came true and I couldn’t WAIT to photograph Katherine and Isaiah. Everything about this location made my heart so happy and it was so fun to see this precious couple again! It made me wish I got to photograph ALL my couples again after their weddings!! It was the best reunion and couldn’t have been a more picturesque spot for a spring shoot. Katherine and Isaiah, thank you guys for making time for this to finally happen!! I loved spending the evening with you and am so darn excited for you to see these!!
