I’m currently struggling to stay awake as I write this but I. MUST. PRESS. ON. Haha! The past two months have been way busier than I ever expected and I’m apparently still learning how to schedule myself so that I don’t die of exhaustion. It’s a work in progress. But I’m forever grateful that this is the problem I have. I wouldn’t have ever imagined myself getting to live out a dream like this back when I decided to leave college but it’s such a gift!

And I am pushing through today because I’m especially excited about this blog post! I met Annaliese and Shara back in 2014, not long after I came home to pursue photography. I was trying to travel as much as possible back in 2014 and was up for absolutely ANY chance to go somewhere. This was right around the time that I was involved in an online ministry for Christian creatives called Delight and I was paired that Christmas for Secret Santa with Shara, who was friends with Annaliese, neither of whom I had met in person! Haha! But Annaliese got in touch with me after Christmas saying Shara was coming to Charlotte in March to visit her and thought it would be super fun if I surprised her and came down. So I did! My aunt and uncle live in Charlotte so I stayed with them and hung out with Shara and Annaliese for a couple days. It was such a fun trip and it was the first time I got to photograph any type of fashion work. Annaliese has a fashion blog that she has worked really hard on for about six years and I got to do some of the photos for her blog on that trip! We were both pretty new to the blogging world so it was really special to get to do that shoot together!

It’s been amazing to follow Annaliese’s journey from being at Queens University in Charlotte, graduating, taking a radio host position in Vermont (that she didn’t love), to finally finding a new job that she’s so stoked about with the Country station in little ol’ Charlottesville!! I got a text from Annaliese a couple weeks before she was offered the position saying she might be moving here and I couldn’t believe it! She has officially been here a few weeks and I’m excited to announce that I get to work with her this upcoming year photographing her outfits for the blog!

We met up early one morning last week at UVA right after the sun came up and it was SO peaceful and beautiful! Annaliese has her outfit changes down to a science and I loved getting to photograph so many looks in such a short time! So here’s a little preview at what you’ll be seeing on her blog soon if you follow her.
