My goal over the past two years has been to grow the senior portrait side of my business and it has been a challenge but it has been so fun to watch it slowly grow and become more of what I always pictured (no pun intended) it would look like! I started a senior spokesmodel program a couple years ago and while it didn’t exactly go as I had planned the first year, I adjusted it this past spring and am beginning to see the fruits of my labor! Haha! MacKensie found me through my sweet spokesmodel Emma Evans and she has been such a joy to work with!!
What I really love about my senior portrait collections is that there’s an option to come to Anthropologie in Charlottesville with me and have me style you! Seniors who choose that collection get to pick out two outfits at Anthropologie at no extra cost for their shoot so not only is it fun for them to get to wear really unique, gorgeous clothes for their senior pictures, but I get more time with my seniors and they feel like my friends when I actually get to do their photos!
That’s how I felt about MacKensie!! I loved her immediately when I met her in Anthro a few weeks ago but showing up to her family farm in Staunton earlier this week where she rides her horses every day, I felt like she would have definitely been one of my close friends in high school! She was such a natural in front of the camera and she has such a kind, gentle spirit that was evident when we had to reschedule her shoot multiple times because of rain. I’m so grateful we finally got her pictures done because MacKensie actually already graduated high school and is heading off to Clemson THIS FRIDAY to start her first year in college! I’m so excited to follow her journey there and see where life takes her! MacKensie, you are stunning!!! I hope you love a few of my favorites below!
