I recently blogged Lauren and Luke’s engagement photos which you might remember because they are some of my favorite shots from all of 2018. The joy of getting to photograph couples is capturing their individual personalities. Every couple is different in some way and I love being inspired by that uniqueness. Lauren and Luke had me laughing the entire two hours and the colors and views that day were just overwhelming.
It was so refreshing to capture them and was just one of those days that reminded me why I love what I do. So after that, I couldn’t help but look forward to their wedding day. I had a feeling it would be a special one and I wasn’t wrong.
The people surrounding these two on their wedding were some of the kindest, most beautiful souls and it was so fun to watch. Lauren and Luke have a team of people praying for them, loving them, and cheering them on. To get to photograph that energy and witness that support was beautiful.
And I know I’ve said this many times before but to be a part of a wedding where faith is at the center is my favorite thing. Watching Lauren raise her hands in an act of worship during their ceremony and watching Luke overwhelmed with emotion beside her was one of the top ten moments I’ve witnessed as a wedding photographer. I live for those moments.
I could go on and on about these two but rather than do that, I’ll let the photos tell their story! Enjoy!
