The past year has been so encouraging for me when it comes to the growth of my senior portrait business. I say this every time I blog a senior but I absolutely LOVE photographing seniors. It always gives me a new burst of excitement for this job, especially when there are horses involved.
I love that a lot of my seniors are such big animal people and have had me out to their farms to photograph them with their horses this year (and various other animals, like goats). It’s always fun to see my seniors in their element. It’s one thing to photograph someone in a random place that doesn’t really have much of a personal meaning to them and it’s another to photograph someone in the one place where they spend all their time and feel completely at ease.
For Ann Ashley, that place was out on her family’s farm with her horses, goats, and dogs. I immediately saw her eyes light up when I started photographing her with them. Ann Ashley was such a natural when it came to being in front of the camera and I loved my time with her! I’m so excited to introduce her to you today!
