I think this just might be my favorite blog post I’ve ever shared. Why? Because this is my best friend Megan!!! If you’ve followed my blog or Instagram for a while, this is not news to you but this might be the first time I’ve ever shared an entire blog post with photos of both Megan and Justin. I’ve done mini-shoots here and there with them but this one was a real shoot and was SO FUN!!!

Thankfully Megan lives in Northern Virginia and I get to visit fairly often. Not often enough but I do make a point to go up there as much as I can! I’ve traveled with Megan and Justin over the years and spent many a night in their apartment as a third wheel so my friendship with them goes deep. Haha. Thankfully I am not longer a third wheel (although if I was going to be a third wheel with anyone, I would want it to be with Megan and Justin) and this time my boyfriend Sam and I planned a trip to visit them! Megan mentioned swapping photo sessions one of the days we were there so that’s exactly what we did. Sam and I had never had real photos taken of us together so I was so excited/nervous. I can officially understand how my couples feel being photographed!

It ended up being a very hot evening at Manassas Battlefield but it was so worth it! I absolutely LOVE these images of them. It is such a special thing to get to capture your best friend’s love and Megan and Justin have definitely inspired me in my relationship to never give up, to not take things too seriously, and to never take each other for granted!
