It’s not every day that I have the opportunity to shoot bridal portraits. They aren’t as popular as they used to be but what girl doesn’t want to have another chance to get in her gown and feel gorgeous?! I honestly would still consider doing that now, even after being married. On the wedding day, there’s really not that much time to do a lot of bridal portraits so this is always a great choice if you want extra photos of yourself to choose from or even if you want to surprise your groom on your wedding day!

I’ve known Emmy and her husband Ryan for a long time and I photographed them as a couple even before I even became a professional photographer. They were the first couple I EVER photographed back in the day when I just took photos for fun. I remember going to the back of my neighborhood and very terribly posing them when they were just dating and we were probably still in high school. I’m very happy to say I’ve come a long way since then. But wow, what an honor to have photographed them all these years. I got to capture their proposal, engagements, Emmy’s bridals, and their wedding back in September that I’ll hopefully blog soon.

We shot these a month or two before their wedding and it was such a fun day!! It was my first time to Bluestone Vineyard, where they also got married and the views were amazing! The vines were at peak and everything was so bright and colorful. Emmy is a bombshell so it wasn’t hard to capture some stunning images of her.
