The blog has been a little slow during quarantine but things are picking back up and I’ve never been so happy to be shooting! I honestly feel like I’m back in my early days of having my business again because of the inspiration, excitement, and joy that taking pictures is bringing me! Haha. A few weeks ago, my friend Hannah and I met on the downtown mall and had a quick shoot of each other and it was so much fun. This was the first time I had done portraits since quarantine started and it just felt so right. Hannah is such an easy subject to photograph and these are some of my favorite shots I’ve taken in a long time. It’s definitely not hard to get a beautiful photo of her but I really love the colors and edits on these as well!
You’ve probably seen other shoots I’ve done of Hannah from when I first met her, when we went to Hawaii, when we did a fun Anthropologie shoot in Richmond, and when we visited West Palm! I have a so many blog posts of her that I feel like she should have her own tag on here by now! Haha. I’ve talked about this before but Hannah and I met through Instagram and the very first post I tagged here is when I met her in person for the shoot we did together in 2014. I felt like that was the shoot that really gave me confidence in myself as a photographer and encouraged me to keep going. It’s so crazy to look back and see all the trips we went on and how quickly we formed a friendship that still continues today. Things like this make me SO grateful to be in an industry that allows me to make new friends, do what I love, and continually be inspired!
So I hope you enjoy a few of these recent shots of my sweet friend, Hannah!
