Since quarantine started, weddings have obviously slowed down and I didn’t want to completely stop shooting during this time so I started offering mini sessions and it has been a huge hit! I’ve never done them before because with a busy wedding schedule, it doesn’t always make sense but it has been SO much fun and I kind of hope I never have to stop offering them. It has given me a chance to see some past clients like Emily and Mark and celebrate exciting new things like starting a family! This has definitely been the spring/summer of maternity portraits and I am here for it.
Emily and Mark got married back in 2017 and I can’t believe this is the first time I’ve seen them since! When my couples start families, it’s the best because often times I get to photograph them again and hear all about what they’ve been up to since their weddings. Emily and Mark are such kind and amazing people and I am so thrilled for the new little one they’ll be bringing into the world so soon. They are going to be the best parents!
We ended up walking all over the property at the gorgeous Barn at Edgewood for their shoot and we couldn’t have possibly had a more beautiful sunset or backdrop for these photos. For some reason, lately, I haven’t gotten to photograph during a really nice sunset and I was squealing during these because I couldn’t believe how absolutely breathtaking it all was with the mountains, colors, and light. And obviously Emily and Mark are stunning and made my job so easy! I adore how these all turned out and I am so excited to be blogging their gorgeous session today! Enjoy a little sneak peek from our shoot last month!
