Being a photographer really is one of the most special professions, in my opinion. I get to connect with the most incredible, kind people, capture one of the most memorable days of their lives on their wedding day, and then a few years down the road, I often get to be a part of yet another memorable moment when my clients get pregnant! I get to stay in touch with my clients on Instagram and through text a lot of times thankfully but because most of my clients aren’t in Charlottesville and we all live super busy lives, it’s hard to meet up with them in between. But I am SO thankful for times like these where I get to see my favorite people again and celebrate with them when they have news like THIS! Our Ravens Roost baby announcement photoshoot was magic and if you get impatient and just start scrolling now, I won’t blame you. Haha!

Maggie and Bryan got married back in 2017 and their day was such a fun one that I will never forget! I adore these two, their spunk, the way they banter, and their joy and excitement for life. So when Maggie reached out to me back in July telling me she was pregnant and wanted me to capture their announcement photos, I couldn’t believe it!! It’s so fun being to the point in my business where so many of my past clients are now starting families. And being at that same age really makes me emotional! I can only imagine what a beautiful time it is preparing for your first baby and I was so honored these two let me into the news a bit early so I could capture these adorable photos of them.

Maggie and Bryan, you two already know but I am SO thrilled for you!!! I cannot wait to hopefully meet this sweet little child when he/she is born in March but until then, here are some of my favorites from your announcement session!
