This is not the first time my friend Sarah has been on the blog but this is the first time she and her beau Sam have been on the blog together, which is super fun! Sarah reached out to me a month or more ago and told me she and Sam were moving back to Texas, where they both have spent time before, and they really wanted some classic UVA photos on grounds before moving.

I have been hearing about this boy Sam for quite some time now and how awesome and kind he is and I have been so happy for Sarah but the evening of this shoot was my first time getting to meet him! It was so nice putting a face to the name finally and it is so clear these two have extraordinary fun together and are just so sweet together.

Our shoot was full of laughter and I love how these images turned out! It was a cloudy day but it was quiet on campus as it was before school started back for the year and I always love shooting at UVA when it’s peaceful and we have free rein of every spot!! Sarah and Sam, I hope the move to Texas is smooth and that these photos always remind you of Charlottesville! 🙂 Come back soon!
