I am so excited to introduce to you one of my 2021 couples!! I’ve been sharing a whole lot of seniors lately but it’s time to switch over to an engagement session. We shot at the gorgeous Libby Hill Park at the end of October and I am obsessed with how these turned out. It’s funny because we actually planned to shoot at Maymont Park originally but there was an event going on and they closed early so I texted Rachel and Dan before they arrived and told them to meet me at another spot that was also blocked off…. Haha!! And then we finally drove over to Libby Hill which thankfully ended up being a dream. I think it was meant to be! I’ve shot here so many times but I loved being there with Rachel and Dan. They are such joyful souls and their laughter in these images brings such a huge smile to my face.

I am truly so lucky to work with people like this! I have no idea how I am so blessed but Rachel and Dan definitely are the type of couple I love and am so thankful for. They made my job a breeze as we walked around the park and nearby neighborhood! And fun fact: Rachel and I basically have the same engagement ring. When I took her ring to photograph it, I squealed because I have never seen another ring like mine in person and it was so shocking! I’ve photographed a lot of rings over the years so it’s always wild when I see one even remotely similar to mine. It was a fun realization though and in that moment, I discovered we must have similar taste and our friendship was meant to be. Haha!

Rachel and Dan, I seriously cannot WAIT to capture your wedding next year!! You two are the best and I hope you love this little sneak peek of your engagement photos!
