You guys are in for a treat today with this engagement session. My photography heart was SO full as I was driving away from this stunning spring engagement session. Emily and Patrick are one of my 2021 couples and this was the first time I got to meet them but through our phone call and all our emails, I truly already felt like I knew them! They both seemed so down to earth, warm, friendly, and fun!

When I showed up to capture their session a little after sunrise last week, I was blown away! I arrived early to location scout and this property was FULL of blooms! I’ve never seen it so beautiful. I wasn’t expecting it to be blooming in March but I’m so glad it was! There were pink cherry trees, yellow and white daffodils, and immaculate gardens. It was absolutely a photographers dream come true!! This was also my first real spring shoot so I couldn’t have imagined a better way to start it off!

After I finished scouting and was freaking out about the backdrops and light we were going to get to shoot in, Emily and Patrick’s smiling faces popped out of the front of the hotel! Within a second of saying hi, Patrick was already chatting with me and Emily just felt like an old friend. I LOVE when my couples show up ready to be photographed and that is exactly what these two did! And I couldn’t get over how perfect Emily’s dainty pink dress was! So fitting for the spring backdrop!

We walked all over this gorgeous property for an hour and I had the best time photographing these two. It made me want their wedding to be here now because I can’t wait to see them again in their wedding attire and capture their love again in October!! Let the countdown begin!
