If you saw the blog post I shared right before this one, you already met Olivia’s twin sister Grace!! I actually ended up photographing Grace first and once her mom saw those sneak peek images, she then hired me to photograph Olivia as well! Such an honor to get to do both of their graduation portraits. They both ended up with the most gorgeous days for their shoots and the light was stunning everywhere we went. Olivia’s shoot took place at Virginia Tech and goodness, she killed it!! These two girls are so photogenic!
Surprisingly, Olivia was a little nervous for her senior portraits at the beginning. You definitely won’t be able to tell but I kept telling her she had nothing to be nervous about. It was fun to see her gain confidence as the shoot continued! I always remind my clients that I will walk them through every pose. They’re never going to just be standing there awkwardly not knowing what to do with their hands. Haha! I have spent years learning how to pose both couples and seniors and it is a crucial skill!
Olivia really warmed up to the camera by the time sunset rolled around and some of these photos towards the end are new all time favorites! The light and the way it was hitting Olivia’s hair was unreal! I honestly was sad when both of these shoots were over because I was having so much fun. I am really looking forward to the few senior shoots I have coming up this fall. But until then, I hope you all enjoying scrolling through a few from this May session. Let me know which ones are your favorites in the comments! Olivia, I wish you all the best this year!
