I cannot believe how far I’ve fallen behind on blogging! I absolutely love sharing my work here and on Instagram but it starts to get hard to keep up with it all. I still personally hand edit each image I take and I tend to be a bit on the picky side. So that has been the majority of my life these days. But I love it! I love getting to edit my images to look exactly like I want. It always feels so rewarding finally delivering a gallery.
Speaking of, this senior session from this past spring was a gallery I was beyond excited to deliver. I actually got to photograph both Grace and her twin sister’s college graduation photos and they were both some of my favorite shoots from the last few years! I love getting to photograph seniors in high school and college! And when they show up in the cutest, most stylish outfits, it really makes it fun!
Grace was such a natural being photographed. You’ll see below but I was squealing this entire shoot and immediately came home to download these memory cards. There’s something about portraits that light up my soul. We walked all over the UVA campus this day and what you won’t see here is the hundreds of people also out taking graduation portraits. Haha! It was graduation weekend at UVA which means at sunset, the entire campus comes out to get their photos done. It was honestly insane. I’m super impressed that we ended up capturing any photos at the Rotunda without people in the back! But they turned out fabulous and the lighting was glorious in every shot this day! Grace, thanks so much for having fun with me as I took your photos!!!
