As Sam and I are officially three weeks out from our move to Hawaii, life has been absolutely insane. On top of a busy fall season and still having one more wedding ten days before we move, we are selling every item we own and trying to figure out how to fit just the important items in a few suitcases! Haha. Anyone who knows me knows that’s a little hard for me. This move to Hawaii is our dream but it’s a huge leap of faith for me. I’m fully putting my trust in Jesus to sustain me through this crazy season and also to provide for us when we get there. While it’s all super nerve-racking and at times feels unnatural, it’s also a great test of perseverance. I am so excited to see where this move takes us in life and I’m super ready for the adventure!!
But obviously due to our move, I have been way behind on blogging! You probably notice I’ve been tagging my Virginia posts as Hawaii lately to help with the SEO so I can start getting my work seen by those Hawaii brides. So no, this gorgeous wedding was not shot in Hawaii. Just a good ol’ beautiful Virginia day this past summer with my amazing clients Emily and Robert.
Emily and Robert are the gentlest sweetest souls you will ever meet. Their day almost didn’t even feel like a wedding because it was so calm and relaxed. As those who are familiar with my work know, I tend to shoot at the same venues in Virginia a lot and King Family is one of those! On this particular day, the mountains seemed extra blue and the sky seemed extra clear. It was perfect. I’m so excited to share some of my favorites below!
