I shot this gorgeous couples session back in the fall at Pharsalia and this was a fun one for me because not only is Sarah an amazing photographer herself but she’s actually one of my associates!! I’ve actually known Sarah through the wedding industry for a long time so it was a huge honor when she asked me to take some photos of her and her husband Chris! Every now and then I get to photograph another photographer and it’s special every time! I can’t believe I’m just now sharing these photos because they’re some of my favorites from last year. We were prepping for our move around when I took these so I don’t think I got to post many but I’m so glad to have them all up on the blog!

This location is one of my top five out there and on this day in particular, it looked extra epic! I think the soft light made the mountains really pop. Also, Sarah and Chris both had the best outfits and colors that really matched the scene! Sarah’s yellow dress really popped and then her blue one complimented the backdrop so nicely. I think that’s something that’s important if you’re planning a photo session. Make sure your outfits make sense in the location you’re shooting and that the colors work well! I love helping clients with this when they hire me but clearly Sarah knew what she was doing!
