I photographed Ashlea and Dylan back in April and that really makes me realize how time is flying. I was still really building my business only a few months into being on the island so I remember being SO excited to work with Ashlea and Dylan! Every shoot I was getting in those early days was cause for a celebration!

Ashlea and Dylan were fresh off their flight for their honeymoon here when we did this shoot. They had just gotten married back in D.C. days prior so their joy and excitement was so refreshing. I absolutely loved working with them! They were naturals in front of the camera and were down for anything! This was also my first time shooting at this epic location and I got super lucky this day and no one was on the beach!! Such a dream! This location can be a tricky one when there are other photographers because there’s really only one direction to shoot with the mountains but even having that whole area to myself this day, I got creative and moved around so we captured some variety. That’s always my goal as a photographer!

I shot a couple rolls of film at this shoot too and that also made it super fun! I’m really proud of myself because I can barely tell the film from the digital and that’s always the goal when editing! See if you can spot them for yourself and enjoy scrolling through this lovely session!
