My favorite part of being a photographer is getting to be a part of my clients’ amazing stories. The longer I live, the more I realize how every single person has such a unique and incredible story. Life is full of so many ups and downs and sometimes my job is bringing joy to people in a hard time by providing priceless memories and sometimes it’s celebrating incredible victories with others! This photoshoot with Yasmin and Anthony was the latter!

This sweet couple has been trying to get pregnant for six years with no success. They actually decided to start the adoption process because they figured Yasmin might not ever be able to conceive. Well, not long after getting the adoption process started, Yasmin got pregnant! Isn’t life so interesting?! I truly can’t even imagine the absolute elation they felt finding out they would finally get to have a child of their own. When they asked me to photograph some announcement photos of them while they were in Hawaii, I was so beyond excited. These are the moments I live for. It is such a gift to capture these unforgettable memories.

Also, Yasmin and Anthony are such amazing people and they shared with me that they’re still going to adopt. They’ve always felt passionate about that and I love that they’re still going to provide an amazing home to a child who needs it even though they’re now expecting their own. I hope you guys enjoy these absolutely beautifully radiant photos of them from one of my favorite locations on Oahu! The light really gave us a show this night!
