Esther and Coree have quickly become some of mine and Sam’s best friends here on Oahu in the last year. It’s actually such a small world because Coree and I grew up only fifteen minutes apart from each other and while I only barely knew him through one of our mutual friends, I did meet him once or twice and and I knew he had moved to Hawaii a couple years before we did. I had no idea where exactly he lived on the island or what church he went to or anything but when we arrived, we visited a church on the north shore called Sunset Beach Christian Church and I recognized Coree that day!
Sam didn’t know him at the time but I went up to say hi and we got to chat with Coree and we also met his girlfriend Esther. I remember thinking how sweet and fun Esther seemed and I can’t believe now she’s one of my very best friends here. I honestly don’t know what we’d do without them. Every dinner, game night, beach day, and adventure we have with them in full of constant laughter and joy.
This blog post is quite delayed and I actually photographed their wedding back in October which I can’t wait to share but their engagement session was SO MUCH FUN! We ventured down to one of my favorite spots on the island and I just LOVE how breathtaking and unique these backdrops are! Hawaii really is full of so much variety and I feel like every shoot, I get to capture a little more of it.
Coree and Esther, you guys are literally the best of the best. I’m so happy I got to capture this time for you!
