If you don’t know this by now, I have an amazing associate team back in Virginia. My team captures engagements and weddings so that I don’t have to travel back and forth to Virginia from Hawaii constantly. It has been so fun to grow that part of my business and I’ve loved getting to be a part of the process by planning timelines and editing but also getting to see weddings through my team’s eyes. I always get so excited when I get the images from them and get to start working on them!

Morgan and Clayton’s wedding is coming up fast. Their wedding is this June at the beautiful Sky Ridge Farm. I’ve shot at Sky Ridge once before myself and it was a gorgeous setting so I cannot wait to see what Morgan and Clayton do for their day! This venue is actually in my hometown, where I grew up and lived until I was about 22 or 23! Waynesboro doesn’t have a ton of wedding venues but this one is definitely my favorite! Those rolling hills are special to me because I grew up with them and I can’t wait for Lauren to capture that gorgeous mountain view too!

But anyway, Lauren shot Morgan and Clayton’s engagements at the peak of fall last year and I’ve been meaning to share these since! They turned out so good and while I know it was bitter cold while they were shooting, they were such good sports and I’d say it was worth it! I haven’t been back to Virginia in over a year though and I can still feel the crisp, cold, and sometimes painful air of fall and winter just by looking at these! Haha!
