Elopements are seriously one of my favorite things about living in Hawaii!! It’s probably one of the top elopement destinations in the world and it’s pretty obvious why! It’s the perfect place to escape and have a small, intimate wedding and then you’re already in your honeymoon destination too! Sam and I actually really considered eloping in Hawaii and I wish I had been more brave to reach out to photographers to help me find vendors I really loved. That was the only tricky thing for me… I just wanted to find the best florist and location and just didn’t know where to start.
Now that I live here and have some vendor connections, I always try to help with those little details. Jessica and Lee didn’t need too much help though and that’s one thing that’s really great about elopements. If you’re pretty chill (elopement couples usually are), there’s honestly not that much to organize. You need a location, hair and makeup, flowers, an officiant, your rings/clothes, and that’s about it unless you’re doing a small reception!
This elopement was such a fun one!! They had some of their close family members and their children here that got to witness the ceremony! It was super sweet! And then just the three of us ventured to one of my favorite locations for some bride and groom sunset photos. We couldn’t have planned the timing better. It was absolute MAGIC!! I am so excited to share this stunning elopement with you all today!!
If you’re eloping in Hawaii and you stumbled upon this post and are interested in hiring me for your elopement, reach out! I’d love to work with you!
