The Paraiso family was one of my favorite families I’ve worked with since I moved here. I rarely shoot sunrise but we ended up doing sunrise for this shoot and it was absolute magic. I ended up finding a new little pathway at this location that I’d never shot and it quickly became a new favorite that I have gone back to a few times since. Also, I just realized you can see the moon in the first shots! So fun!
This spot was so beautiful at sunrise and their family was just too precious. They have three little girls and at this point, I was pregnant and knew I was having a little girl. Every family I shot with a girl made me SO excited. I was able to get a little picture of what my life might look like and it made me so happy. Now that I have my own little girl, I feel like I’m living my dream. I truly feel so blessed and can’t wait to see all the amazing adventures we get to go on. And I sure hope we prioritize family photos like these because I totally get it now! Family photos are PRICELESS!
My maternity leave is over as of today and I have my first shoot back in three months next week. I’m stoked to get back to what I love and capture people on this beautiful island. I’ve missed doing what brings me joy and getting to preserve these beautiful memories for people. But until the new work starts coming, this blog will hopefully will getting filled with lots of past shoots that I’m just now getting around to sharing! Hope you enjoy the Paraiso family today from a shoot back in March!
