I am officially blogging sessions from almost a year ago…. Life has been nonstop since I had a baby and I wouldn’t have it any other way but I miss sharing my work here!! This fun session was from this past March and it was only my second time shooting on this beach! It ended up being a bit cloudy but the color of the water and the dreamy skies created the most amazing backdrop!

Madelynn and Richard were my type of couple! They were so much fun and full of joy! Madelynn and Richard are married but at the time of the shoot they were doing long distance because Madelynn was in school on the mainland and Richard is military here on Oahu. I truly have endless respect for people who have to do long distance, especially while married. Military couples are heroes!!

Madelynn was visiting Richard the week we did this shoot and she wanted some photos to celebrate their time together. We frolicked all over this amazing beach on the north shore and captured their love. I love shooting at this beach because there is so much variety and often, there are little pools in the middle of the beach where the water washes up. It’s always fun to have couples splash in it and sometimes it forms an insanely cool reflection! This is reminding me I need to shoot here more often!

Madelynn and Richard, I hope you two are reunited soon and that wherever life has you right now, you’re doing amazing!! If you see this, I hope this very delayed blog post reminds you of your love for one another!! And to everyone else, enjoy a few of my favorites from their adorable session.
