You all know I love when my couples want to get in the water. It is my favorite!! It can be hard to find calm water sometimes when clients want to do that but this spot is always so nice and the backdrop is an obvious dream. This is the one spot on Oahu that I can never believe is real when I see it! Keely and Sam came to Oahu to celebrate ten years together away from their three kids. When they told me they had been married for ten years and had three kids, I was SHOCKED! They are so young! I’m always amazed by people who have kids young and honestly think it’s the best!! You have much more energy when you’re young and your body can handle pregnancies much better. Haha!!

But anyway, I ended up walking away from this shoot so beyond excited. Like I said, I always feel inspired shooting here but Keely and Sam were particularly fun and easy to photograph. This spot really only has one view and while it is epic, there’s not a ton of variety so it was nice that they hopped in the ocean for something a little different! I was six months pregnant at this shoot and I’m pretty sure I looked like a beach ball bobbing around in the small waves trying to capture these photos. Haha!!

I truly feel so blessed that people like Keely and Sam want me to capture memories of them while they’re on vacation. Almost every couple or family I photograph is here celebrating something and it makes my job really special! To think that these images will be looked back on for many many years is really cool. It never gets old! Which one is your favorite?!
