It’s been almost a year since I’ve blogged and I think that’s the longest I’ve ever gone without blogging. Having a child really limits your time and my time these days is spent editing and emailing, not blogging. I miss sharing my work here and hope I can catch up a bit over the next few months! This shoot was from April 2023!! Oh my goodness, so long ago but I’m trying to blog in order so I don’t miss sharing any of my favorite shoots!

This shoot was at one of my favorite locations and there are specific times of year where the grass is long, the mountain is green, and the sun hits at just the right spot like this night! Hannah is an extremely talented photographer so it was such a huge honor she asked me to capture her and her husband on their vacation. They had two kids at the time and just recently had one more but when I did their shoot, I was two months away from having Raleigh and they were so encouraging and sweet chatting about their family. It made me so excited to have a family of my own!

I thought it was so special that Hannah and her husband booked a shoot for just the two of them while they visited Oahu. I’m often doing family shoots but I started my business in couples and weddings so it’s refreshing and fun to capture couples and it made me miss it! These images ended up being some of my all time favorites at the time and they STILL are!! I’m obsessed with a good golden sunset like this and they were such naturals behind the camera!! Hannah and Tyler, I hope your little family is well and that next time we can do a full family shoot! Come back to visit us!
