I’m so beyond excited to be sharing this precious family session from a while back. This might be one of my favorite family sessions of all time. They booked a thirty minute shoot with me which honestly worked out perfectly because their sweet little girl was ready to be done after that long but I could have photographed them ALL DAY. Their little girl was truly one of the cutest babies I’ve ever seen and my heart could barely handle the sweetness of the baby lei po’o.

This location is always a dream and I say that every time I blog a session from here but it’s clearly epic. This is the one beach on Oahu that I couldn’t wait to see when we moved here! It’s so stunning that it’s truly hard to believe it’s real, especially when the light hits the side of that mountain!

Photographing families on this island has brought me so much joy over the last few years. I never thought that would be the case because I used to just focus on weddings. But after moving here and getting hundreds of family inquiries, I started shooting them and slowly found myself getting better at capturing families and enjoying the process. Then once I had my own baby, my love for them grew even more. It’s honestly the biggest blessing to capture these moments for families visiting this beautiful island and I’m so thankful that shift happened in my business! It’s definitely not where I would have pictured myself but it has given me so much flexibility and freedom to be with my little girl more and for that I couldn’t be more grateful!

I’m excited to see where life takes me and my family in the next five to ten years but for now, I’ll keep capturing these beautiful moments for families visiting the most beautiful place on earth! Enjoy this session from last summer!
