I’m so excited to share yet another Aulani family session with you today! The sweet Tibble family was visiting Oahu because they are actually wedding photographers! They were shooting a wedding at Aulani and asked me to capture their family while they were here. Bethany and her husband John are incredibly talented photographers so I felt extremely honored when they asked me to take their family pictures. They had the cutest little girl Maisley and I couldn’t get enough of her! At the time I took these, I was only a couple months away from giving birth to Raleigh so it was really cool to chat with Bethany a little about birth and parenthood (and traveling with a baby!).

We took their photos over at Ko Olina and had some wild weather but it ended up working out and thankfully they were great sports about it! It was a touch rainy and cloudy but then towards the end of the shoot we had a short burst of sun while it was raining! It’s crazy how Hawaii weather works. You really never know what you’re going to get so it’s always refreshing when clients understand that and are okay with making the best of it!

As usual, the Tibbles have since had another baby and I’m just hoping they get to visit Oahu again because their family is stunning and I just adore how these photos turned out!! The more time that I am a mom, the more I realize that there truly is no greater gift than having a family and preserving memories. I started making a family book each year since having Raleigh and it’s my pride and joy. I look at it constantly and think everyone should make one of their own!
