Capturing the Viernes family was truly one of the sweetest and most inspiring shoots for me last year. I remember walking away thinking, “I want my family to love the way the Viernes family loves one another.” As a photographer, I get an inside look at how families interact and while this might feel nerve-racking, I can see family dynamics very quickly after starting to shoot. This family was just FULL of love. The kids really respected their parents and you could tell they wanted to be together. They wanted to hug and snuggle. They were SO obedient and so natural. It was an absolute joy capturing them.

The night we picked to shoot, the light was just right and this location was perfect. I remember feeling so excited about every single image and just the way everyone fell into place, fitting together like a puzzle. It’s really fun capturing bigger families because I feel like there’s so much you can do with posing and everyone’s energy adds more to the shoot.
