I met Cait and Stephen for the first time at their engagement session a couple weeks ago but I felt like I had known Cait all along! I will never forget her excitement on the phone with me when she finally booked. It made me feel like we were best friends!! So when she came up to me at the engagement session with a huge smile on her face, I knew her personality matched exactly how I pictured her. I couldn’t wait to start their session!
We started their photos in a part of Richmond that I’ve never photographed — Monument Avenue!! It’s such a beautiful street, full of homes that I’d love to live in! When I passed the white one with turquoise accents that you’ll see below, I almost cried! It ranks up there in my top five favorite portrait locations ever!! We spent a good part of the beginning of the shoot there and even came back once they changed into their second outfit. I couldn’t help myself. Once the sun started to set, we went over to Libby Hill Park, because I can always count on the skyline and sunset to be an awesome combination.
Cait and Stephen, your Mankin Mansion wedding is going to be here before you know it and I can’t wait to see you in your wedding attire and watch you vow to each other. Your love is so evident and your joy in these images is contagious! Here is a little preview of your Richmond engagement session!! Hope you love what you see!!
