Jenny and Erik graduated from UVA and have been living and working in Charlottesville since but they are now transitioning into a new phase of life! They’re about to have their first baby girl and just recently moved to Philadelphia for new job opportunities. Jenny contacted me about a month ago asking if I’d be interested in doing some maternity photos of her with Erik but that they only had one weekend free! I didn’t use to do maternity very often but I’ve come to really love it so luckily I was free and I got to photograph this fun season for them at Glass House Winery, which is a really cool winery/greenhouse a little outside of Charlottesville. Glass House was kind enough to let us come after hours and shoot in the gorgeous golden hour. It was so refreshing to shoot at a new location and get to take a couple photos inside the conservatory, which has always been on my bucket list.

Jenny and Erik, in just the short couple hours I got to hang out with you and get to know you, I have no doubt you two are going to be incredible parents. This little girl is so lucky and I can’t wait to see photos of her soon enough!! She’s going to be so darn cute! Thanks for letting me capture your little family and I hope these photos always remind you of what a blessing it is to be a mom!
