I met this firecracker full of energy named Nicki about a year ago when we met up for lunch in Richmond and I’ve loved her ever since. I think everyone who meets her would say she’s the bubbliest, friendliest person! She’s so fun to hang out with and so stunning! She messaged me recently about doing some photos for her updated website and I was all about it! I absolutely LOVE when other photographers and wedding vendors ask me to take photos of them — it’s such an honor.

So I went over to Richmond for the day where she’s also a photographer and this super fun bar and restaurant downtown called Havana 59 agreed to let us use their rooftop for photos and it was the PERFECT location, not only because it fit Nicki’s laid back, beachy vibe but because it was just so different than what I normally get to do! It has a Cuban, islandy feel to it with the palm trees, colorful shutters, and fun aging walls! I could have stayed forever!

Nicki, you’re seriously drop dead gorgeous!! I had to share a few of my favorites on the blog today! Also, thanks to Krista Rose from Avenue 42 for the makeup!
