I was counting down the days to this shoot in D.C. and it did not disappoint. I feel like I say this every single time I blog but my couples are seriously the coolest, most joyful people. When I show up to photograph anyone who has hired me, I know that it’s going to bring a smile to my face. I definitely ask my couples to do and say some silly things so maybe I just give them permission to be ridiculous but the fact that they show up ready to be ridiculous is the BEST!

All I really want is to capture the true, genuine personalities of my couples and honestly, with people like Sheila and Will, it isn’t hard to do that because they trusted me and were so in love. We walked all around this gorgeous property that I’ve been dying to shoot at for years and it was the perfect afternoon! Sheila and Will, I loved photographing you guys and I loved editing your photos! I think I was laughing the entire time thinking back on this day last month. Thanks for making my job easy and for being so kind and fun!
